Work with companies around the world will be the most reliable company from customers, like-minded, continue to challenge the creation of new value through next-generation information systems. Toward the No.1 multi-core processors, further efforts will continue.

Our company celebrated the 12th anniversary of establishment in December, 2011. Our company has furthered research and development of a heterogeneous multi-core type microprocessor with high energy efficiency (TOPSTREAM™?) since establishment. Now, TOPSTREAM™ became technology indispensable to realization of the electronic information system of the next generation, such as a smart phone and a field of high-end ultra high-speed computing.

In the semiconductor industry in the world, LSI for specific customers from (ASIC), has shifted significantly (ASSP) LSI for specific applications. The optimization as a system containing not only hardware but software is indispensable to reservation of the high profit ratio of ASSP, and a market share. And I utilized the heterogeneous multi-core type microprocessor for future ASSP from the viewpoint of optimization of a system, and think it more important than anything to improve the reusability of software and hardware to it.

Each component of the next generation of electronic information systems various application areas that are proposed in the around the world, has actually led somewhere. I think that the software platform and hardware platform which optimize the least common denominator of the least common denominator and hardware of software, respectively, and reuse it become the starting point of future competitive power.

TOPS Systems will provide next-generation products needed to achieve set by manufacturers to the "Hardware IP optimal multicore performance." The future, Cool Soft Co., Ltd., (Established on January 27, 2012 /A wholly owned subsidiary of TOPS Systems Corp.)will provide the software to take full advantage of multi-core processor.

In addition, not only through licencing of IP but through joint research and joint development with a customer, we proposed the synthetic solution about multi-core technology, and think that we would like to contribute to making customer's novel product.
